About CAST-YEA
Overview: The CAST-YEA (CAST Youth Elite Award) is a flagship program of CAST-USA Education. It aims to promote STEM interdisciplinary education, innovation, collaboration, and communicational skills among students in secondary schools and universities. Finalists will be invited to receive their awards at the 2026 Global Innovation Summit & CAST-USA Annual Convention.
How to Apply: Email required materials to castusa.yec@gmail.com by 8/31. To complete your application, select your participation option below:
1. Lifetime Membership: Join as a CAST-USA Lifetime Member ($200) by 8/31 to enjoy complimentary access to YEA/YEC programs and selected future events for you and your children.
2. One-Time Registration: Choose the Early-Bird rate ($50) by 8/15 or the Regular fee ($60) by 8/31.
Note: Proof of member status is required for complimentary benefits.
Eligibility
1. School Group: Grades 7 - 12.
2. College Group: Undergrads, Grads, & PhD.
3. GPA 3.2+ and clean disciplinary record.
4. Scope: Open to all students world-wide.
Materials
1. Essay up to 2 pages with a headshot.
2. Recent 2-year academic transcripts.
3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. Contact information in English & Chinese.
Milestones
1. 8/15: Early-bird deadline ($50).
2. 8/31: Final submission deadline ($60).
3. 9/30: Finalists announced.
4. TBD: Awards presented.
Awards
1. Finalists: Receive distinct honors.
2. Top 10 Finalists: 1st (1), 2nd (3), 3rd (6) per group.
3. Rank 11-20: Certificate of Excellence.
4. Venue: Presented at 2026 CAST Global Summit.
