About CAST-YEA
Overview: The CAST-YEA (CAST -USA Youth Elite Award) is a flagship program of CAST-USA Education. It aims to promote STEM interdisciplinary education, innovation, collaboration, and communicational skills among students in secondary schools and universities. Finalists will be invited to receive their awards at the 2026 Global Innovation Summit & CAST-USA Annual Convention.

Eligibility

1. School Group: Grades 7th - 12th.
2. College Group: Undergrads, Grads, and PhD.
3. GPA 3.2+ and clean disciplinary record.
4. Scope: Open to all students worldwide. 

Materials

1. Essay up to 2 pages with a headshot.
2. Recent 2-year academic transcripts. 
3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. Contact information in English and Chinese.

Milestones

1. 8/31: Early-bird deadline ($45).
2. 9/15: Final submission deadline ($60).
3. 9/30: Finalists announced. 
4. TBD: Awards presented at CAST-USA Summit.

Awards

1. Finalists: Receive distinct honors.
2. Top 10 Finalists/Group: 1x1st, 3x2nd, 6x3rd places.
3. Rank 11-20: Receive Certificate of Excellence.
4. Venue: Presented at CAST-USA Global Summit.

How to Apply: Email required materials to castusa.yec@gmail.com by 9/15. To complete your application, select your participation option below:
1. Lifetime Membership: Join as a CAST-USA Lifetime Member ($200) by 9/15 to enjoy complimentary access to YEA/YEC programs and selected future events for you and your children.
2. One-Time Registration: Choose the Early-Bird rate ($45) by 8/31 or the Regular fee ($60) by 9/15.
3. Payment Method:
    3.1 Pay by Card: Select a payment type in the bottom of the page to pay by credit/debit card;  
    3.2 Pay by Check: Take clear pictures of the front and the back of the check, email them to castusa.yec@gmail.com (state the contestant's name).
