Overview: The Chinese Association for Science and Technology in the United States (aka CAST-USA) is a Sci-Tech and Innovation driven non-profit organization registered in New York in 1992. Its primary objectives consist of three pillars, to promote the vision and discoveries in partnership in SciTech, Finance, Healthcare, Business and trade; to empower the multi-cultural and mutual interests between US and China; and to strengthen unity and collaboration among the scholars and innovators across these regions. The members are primarily consisting of Chinese professionals with nearly 10,000 members across 40 chapters and liaison offices in US and China. The Association and its regional chapters hold international summit annually and regional seminars and cultural celebrations throughout of the year. 
Structure: It consists of three committees, the Board of Directors, the Board of Governors, and the Executive Committee. Its senior leadership team and Standing Committee composes Council Chairman Fanglin Zheng, Board Chairman Jiaye Xie, President Erxi Wu, and President-elect Jingyao Liu to make executive decisions and orchestrate its daily activities. 
Advisory Board: The Advisory Committee is composed of past presidents of CAST-USA, including Huakang Zhou, Qiu Zhang, Zhenchun Xu, Chongqing Lu, Qiyuan Ma, Mengchu Zhou, Jiaye Xie, Shuigen Xiao, Hong Shi, Yousuo Zou, Minyue Lin, Feiyue Wang, Bailian Li, Li Zuo, Lu Shen, Qiang Lu, Dajun Zeng, Tong Fang, Xiaoming Sheng, Yiqiang Cai, Hao Yu, Yunming Song, Zhixiong Chen, Weimin Jiang, Xinghua Pan, Xuan Zheng, Le Wan, Hong Liao, Fanglin Zheng, Erxi Wu, and Jingyao. Honorary Advisors: Since its inception, the association has established a prominent advisory group including Nobel Laureates and world-renowned scientists such as Tsung-Dao Lee, Chen-Ning Yang, Sing-Shen Chern, Jian Song, Chia-Chen Tan, Guangya Zhu, Anna Chennault, Chang-Lin Tien, Guangzhao Zhou, Li-Lan Zhu, Yong-Xiang Lu, and Wen-Chung Deng, as well as Nobel laureates Professor Daniel Shechtman, Professor Mario Capecchi, Sir Richard Roberts, and Professor Brian Kobilka.
